Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a "Senior Data Scientist" to join our innovative and growing technology team at Cerebro. In this role you will work alongside our data and software team to design and implement elegant solutions to complex and interesting problems. We believe the future of businesses will be data-driven, highly dependent to machine learning and powered by artificial intelligence.

We focus on developing platforms, solutions and services that will process live data instantly, that can optimize its models on its own and that are powered by AI to solve real world business problems. Our mission is to create and to deploy software solutions endowed with machine learning and AI to current untapped markets.

This Individual must be able & willing to use predictive analytics, data mining, pattern recognition, data modeling, machine learning and various statistical methods in order to develop our new R&D projects. The candidate will have had experience working with deep learning algorithms and large datasets as well as experience working with unstructured data and experience cleaning and manipulating data.

Requirements

• Educational background in relevant field (Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Computational Biology, or other quantitative fields)

• Min. 3+ years relevant work experience in a similar data analyst role

• Very Good Knowledge about statistics, data analysis, machine learning and programming. (R, Python, scikit-learn are preferred)

• In-depth knowledge of databases, data modeling, Hadoop, and distributed computing frameworks.

• Solid understanding of data structures, coding standards, best practices, software design

• Experience developing and testing machine learning and/or statistical projects.

• Experience performing analysis with large datasets

• Experience with recommendation systems and data warehouse technologies are preferred

• Ability to understand complex and ambiguous business needs and applying the right tools and approaches.

• Experience with NOSQL technologies

• Strong analytical thinking

• Experience with Linux

• Comfortable with the rapid, unpredictable nature of a tech startup

• Must be curious, self-motivating, driven and have a passion for problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Research new technologies and algorithms for solving business problems.

• Analyze large datasets, forecasting and mathematical/statistical modeling to understand data behavior.

• Integrate and utilize from different data sources.

• Contribute and develop projects that enhance end user experiences with big data analysis.

• Work in a data science team for developing research and development projects.
