Laboratory Formulation Specialist-Coloredcosmetics

We are looking for an hands-on Lab. Product Development Specialist for our Cosmetics, Cleaning & Personal Care Department!

- Researcing the chemical structure, on coloured cosmetics and all other areas, INCI nomenclature of the benchmarks from the customer project briefs and formulating to obtain the same texture, sensory and the cost level expected.

- And preparing the formulations, (mixing, blending etc) practicing in the laboratory, completing weekly 3-5 new formulations.

- Examining the supplier’s new launches of the trend concepts, new raw materials and converting these into cost-effective, proactive solutions to the customers with the other raw materials of our whole portfoilo.

- Regularly researching the market trends of the final consumer products, leading and multinational brands.

- Proactively preparing new trends presentations with the prepared prototypes and presenting it to the sales team monthly.

- Researching of the competitor new raw material launches and trying to find, formulate alternative  advantageous solutions for our customers.

- Knowledge of market research tools such as Mintel etc. & keeping records of prototypes prepared and sent to customers.

- Keeping records of the stability results of the formulations of the prototypes.

- Sharing the work load in case it is necessary, sample sending, preparing for the customers, put in order of the lab, shelves etc.

- Replying to the sale teams technical questions, be in contact with the customer R&D departments if needed.

- Formulating different cost levels of the same formulation referring the the related customer cost of the the formulation.

Desired Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, preferably from reputable universities.

- 3-6 years of trackable experience in lab environment product development and formulation development is a must.

- Fluency in English.

- Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in with excellent communication skills.

- Demonstratable ability to deliver results during uncertainty, despite changes and ambiguity.

- Proactively helping understand towards the others and responding to their business needs to build strong working relationships.

- Pro-active self-starter, willing to accept responsibility for business task.
