Job Description

• Supplier development and transfer of expertize concerning:
  • Forging -  heat treatment – and/or steel production processes
  • Knowledge of iron casting processes will be an asset
• Planning, preparation, execution and follow up of process audits at above mentioned suppliers
• Participate to the meetings regarding localization activities with project purchasing team
• Validation of process&production concepts from the supplier
• Conduct specific focus quality programs with identified suppliers
• Observe and analyze claims and failure status at assigned focus program suppliers       
• Representative of purchasing organization for escalated parts suppliers
• Support of running and new development projects as per assigned quality level
• Monitor and analyze of Quality data of assigned suppliers and processes
• Technical Support lead plant projects especially in the Turkish market

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Metallurgical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in iron casting processes
• Minimum 3 years of external Auditor experience based on DGQ or comparable education is an asset
• Fluent in English (written and oral), German is an asset
• Quality background (PFMEA, 8D, PDCA systematic, etc.)
• Depth knowledge of iron casting production processes and measuring devices   
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Products
• Travelling availability 30-50% of working time
• Knowledge of MS Office applications and  SAP/R3
• Self starter, strong communication skills, self- confidence and learning ambition
