· Master/Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering,

· Proven experience in supply chain and logistics

· Min 5 years of work experience in import and export operations environment in the automotive sector or similar.

· Knowledge in international trade and shipping industry and/or logistics invoices verification, export/import. Export and import trade compliance knowledge preferred,

· Ability to manage multiple projects, analyzing and time management,

· Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal English,

· Good level of SAP / ERP knowledge in logistics relevant transactions (i.e. transport module),

· Eligible to work in military projects

· No travel restrictions,

 Responsibilities

· Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance,

· Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers,

· Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance

· Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements

· Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs,

· Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers

· Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency

· Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria

· Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery

· Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues

· Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others

· Ensures to process import and export orders, daily import and export operations and on-time delivery

· Measures and tracks performance of day to day logistics activities

· Plans and arranges logistics required shipments

· Coordination and communication with all stakeholders; internal customers, customs brokers agency, forwarder, Inspection company (if needed) and 3rdP warehousing service providers.

· Perform freight invoice verification and freight cost control

· Responsible for implementing procedures to meet local legislation and regulations

· Ensure compliance to all import and export policies
