QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an “IT Specialist” located in Ankara, at customer premises, with the qualifications below;
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT functions
- Proven experience with IT service support
- Experiences on Windows server & infrastructure
- Experiences on Network Building & Control
- Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wireless Network and other common network subjects
- Knowledge on VPN, Anti-virus
- Knowledge on Video Conference Systems
- Experience on Backup and Restore tools
- Experience managing mobile device management
- Fluent in English - both verbal and written
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on technical issues
- Well-developed communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills
Job Description:
- Track performances of outsource services in desktop and technical support
- Make planning about necessary works for the continuity and performance of the system, make technical arrangements and track
- Ensure testing and taking backups of systems and applications periodically within the organization
- Ensure keeping IT inventory of the organization updated
- Documentation of subjects in his/her responsibility
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot servers when required
- Support end-users’ hardware and software in order to deliver required service levels
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing, upgrading software & hardware, configuring systems and applications
- Implement server installations, upgrades, maintenance fixes and vendor-supplied patches according to the plans
- Proceeding, checking and reporting daily backups
- Practice asset management for IT hardware, software and equipment
- Work with the vendors and service providers when required
- Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of servers, workstations, printers, peripherals
- Develop help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users
- Provide remote support for end users when local support is not feasible.
