Asyaport is a joint venture between Global Terminal Limited (GTL), a company of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) group that makes port investments, and Asyaport Liman A.Ş., which was established by the Soyuer family for the sole purpose of operating a container port. It was built by in Barbaros / Tekirdağ and was put into service on July 8, 2015.

Asyaport, Türkiye’s first transit container port (Hubport), is a world-class port with a total of 2010 meters of berths up to 18 meters deep and an annual capacity of up to 2.5 million TEU. Asyaport makes a great contribution to the business and working life of Tekirdağ, which has developed as a logistics center in its region with its sea, road and railway connections, with its employment capacity of 1200 people.

Job description:

•        Managing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process.
•        Managing processes regarding Waste Management.

•      To be able to use international environmental standards and policies.
•       Providing services related to Diversity Identification and Management Plan, Feasibility Reports, Environmental Measurement and Analysis services and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications.

•      To have a good command of the national legislation on HSE issues and to be qualified to make decisions on these issues in field practices in line with the requirements.
•       Determining the HSE aspects of planning the works to be carried out in the field, determining the relevant risk control measures and preparing root cause analyses.

•       To monitor and supervise the implementation of the HSE planning and requirements created specifically for the Work Order in the relevant work area. To ensure the development of security culture within the business.
•       To warn all relevant parties and ensure that they are informed about newly detected or highly probable new risk situations regarding the work carried out in the field.

•        Preparing and archiving legislation procedures by documenting field data.
•        Revising management systems documents and managing audit processes.

Required Qualifications:

•       Graduating from Environmental Expert, Occupational Safety Expert or other Engineering Departments of universities.
•        Having a Class A or B Occupational Safety Expert Certificate.

•        Preferably knowing SAP.
•       Preferably with knowledge of QDMS software.

•       Able to use MS Office programs effectively.
•       Strong analysis and reporting skills.

•       High planning and organizational skills.
•       Developed leadership qualities, decision making and problem solving skills.

•      Fluent in English (Able to actively correspond and communicate with people in English).
•       Completed military service (For Male Candidates).

•       Residing or able to reside in Tekirdağ.
