The Affiliate in Turkey is now seeking an HR Business Partner Turkey, who will operate as part of the local leadership team providing data-driven insight, support, and challenge to improve business decision-making and embrace the Astellas ethos. The HR Business Partner Turkey is accountable for identifying and co-ordinating the people plan for the country – the right people, in the right roles, with the right conditions. The role will work with global HR Business Partners to ensure fairness and equity with the country and encourage mobility, whilst operating within the requirements of local legislation and practice.

Essential Job Responsibilities:   

•  As part of the local leadership team, design the HR plans to deliver the local business strategy, within the agreed Astellas HR strategy. 

•  Create and maintain the local workforce plan, so that leaders can make effective business decisions.

•  As a member of the International Markets HR leadership team, contribute actively to the execution of the Astellas HR strategy, global processes, and programs.

•   Provide overall leadership and coaching where appropriate.

• Participate in relevant projects, leading and championing as appropriate the Astellas’ reputation as an employer of choice.

• Support and work in employee engagement initiatives.

• Build and manage the local HRBP budget in accordance with the guidelines defined by Finance, Procurement and HR Leadership.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage

• Experience and successful track record of working effectively in a multinational matrix environment

• Proven track record acting as an HR Business Partner and integral member of a business, leading the local HR agenda and aligning HR strategy to business needs

•  Expert knowledge of applicable employment laws, labor regulations and other legal requirements

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization; ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to successfully drive change and implement new business processes

• Fluent in written and verbal business English
