QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering,
- Preferably minimum 3 years of related work experience,
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
- Thinking broadly about business,
- Understanding needs of the market & customer,
- Having the desire to do outstanding jobs,
- Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people,
- Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,
- Building collaboration,
- Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas.
The position is located in Çerkezköy.
Arçelik A.Ş. is looking for a Specialist - Environment who will work for Electronic Products Directorate.
- Documenting and making necessary revisions to ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 9001, ISO 14064 Verification of Greenhouse Gases Emissions,
- Providing system component design that reduces the negative impact on the environment,
- Following up on legal requirements, summaries and adapting to new legislation,
- Serving as a technical advisor on environmental policies and standards to ensuring regulatory applicability,
- Applying knowledge and understanding of the environmental legislation and both Turkish and International standards / regulations,
- Conducting research and technical audits on the environmental impact of the project, analyzing data and performing quality control checks,
- Providing systems technical evaluation and integrating the latest technologies into production,
- Making any kind of legal and regulatory reporting requirements within the organization,
- Monitoring progress and providing recommendations reports,
- Documenting and maintaining plans, requirement, protocols, permits and standard operating procedures,
- Preparing, reviewing and updating environmental investigation and recommendation reports,
- Ensuring all activities are in line with Arçelik Environmental requirements.
