QUALIFICATIONS

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering is preferred)

·      At least 3-4 years’ experience in Health and Safety preferably in industry

·      Having minimum B Class, preferably A Class Health and Safety Specialist Certificate,

·      Good knowledge of machines, equipment, work process and process safety in production area

·      Having NEBOSH Certificate is a plus,

·      Preferably experienced in very high-level risk group company

·      Good command of national and international standards, legislations and legal regulations and having Health and Safety Management System Internal Auditor Certificate

·      Strong communication, problem-solving, project management and analytical skills,

·      Teamwork, time and result oriented, eager to learn and change,

·      Excellent command of Microsoft Office Programs,

·      Excellent written and verbal English skills

·      No restriction to travel

·   Willing to live in İstanbul or Samsun

JOB DESCRIPTION

·      Following the national and international Health and Safety laws, standards and regulations. Implementing the new requirements or changes accordingly.

·      Developing Health and Safety Management System implementation in all units,

·      Representing the company in internal/external audits related to Health and Safety issues,

·      Determining and following the performance targets, prepare internal/external reports and Health and Safety roadmap according to the sustainability strategies,

·      Monitoring the incidents/accidents, preparing the statistics, making investigations for the accidents, determine the causes, planning preventive/corrective action and reporting,

·      Lead the risk management processes and guide to determine safe working methods,

·      Planning and implementing necessary trainings about health and safety issues regarding to determined needs,

·      Monitoring safety performance through field audits, take action plans and follow-up the implementation in order to develop health and safety culture

·      Guiding employees in health and safety issues
