Mine Geological Engineer

We are looking for a team mate in accordance with the following qualifications to be assigned as "Mining Geologist" in our mining company located in Hanönü region of Kastamonu.

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering,

·       Having at least 4 years of active work experience in a similar role,

·       Advanced level of English,

·       Knowledgeable in three-dimensional mine planning program (Datamine RM, Ore Controller),

·       Konwledgeable in of Microsoft Office Programs,

·       Compatible and good in teamwork,

·       Having coordination between departments and strong communication skills,

·       Having open pit experience is an asset.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1.     Makes feasibility studies
a)     Estimated resource and reserve calculation with various geological/geostatistics studies. Comparison of all the results.

2.     To carry out geological studies in the mine site
a)     Processing of blasting data into model program, preparation of database and production patterns
b)     Analysis of drilling data and model update according to results
c)     Grade control
d)     Control and analysis of production plans from the Planning Department
e)     Directing sampler personals
f)      Design of drilling data obtained from exploration sites

3.     Makes Drilling Budget Work
a)     Performs annual RC drilling and sample analysis budget work

4.     Works in coordination with Environment and Map sections
a)     Makes the determination of drilling and sample points by working in coordination with the Mapping Department
b)     Works with the Hydrogeologist on the program for water income from open pit mine
