We are looking for a team member who will work for ACACIA Mining Operations

• Minimum BS degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering,

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance of Industrial plants (Mining or Cement Plants experience will be preferred),

• Experienced in the engineering, design, installation, and maintenance of low and medium voltage power systems, Curcuit breakers and power lines.

• Experienced in the engineering, design, installation, and programming of PLC systems; PCS7, Simatic Manager, Tiaportal

• Experienced in medium voltage motor installation and maintenance.

• Knowledgeable about Schneider VFD and driver systems

• Good level of MS Office, AutoCad and MS Project knowledge,

• Good working knowledge of written and spoken english

• Must have a good understanding of safety processes and demonstrate a passion for following companies procedures.

• Leadership to electrical maintenance group.

• Playing active role in employment process of electricians.

• Ensure the operation of medium and low voltage electrical facilities at optimum level,

• Cooperation and communication with the official or private energy suppliers,

• Taking or have others to take necessary operational safety measures in a manner not to allow any incorrect electrical maneuver at high voltage electrical installations, ensure provision of necessary operating instructions, ensure and follow up training and informing of the personnel in this matter,

• Doing regular checks to the equipments at the site and ensure completion of their electrical maintenances.

• Performing the management of the plant electrical-electronic circuit diagrams, recording the modifications and updating the schematic.

• Ensure operation of PLC, Scada systems and the communication required for operation of existing systems, coordinate integration of new systems with the existing systems and lead the necessary works in this matter,

• Ensure calibrations of equipments and field instrumentations are done and they are working precisely,

• Identifying and implementing software and hardware improvements in PLC system,

• Stock control of electrical and electronical spare parts and determining minimum and maximum stock levels,

• Making improvements on usage of Sap PM module.

• Make sure that the electrical workshop is kept organized.

• Organize the personal and the vehicles according to the work situation and ensure optimum performance of the activities.

• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure that employees are working in accordance with procedures

• Ensures that adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures is strictly maintained in all phases of the electrical maintenance activities.
