Brief

The prime role of the Early Learning Education Directoris todesign, develop and implement the chosen curriculum, provide strong academic leadership and team management. It is required to exercise aneffective communication between parents, teachers and students, demonstrate vision, and empower others to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.

Qualifications

>  A license degree in: child development and education, preschool education, kindergarten education, child development department, guidance and psychological counselling department or psychology department or equivalent.

>  Having worked in public or private preschool education institutions for at least three years.

>  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of KG teaching methods

>  Advanced knowledge of English and Arabic is required.

>  It is important to have experience in leadership, management and organizational skills.

>  At least 3 years of experience in kindergartens or nurseries.

>  Having a work experience abroad

>  Being able to speak Turkish is a plus

>  Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

>  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Tasks Requirements & Responsibilities

>  Manage day-to-day activities at the Early Childhood Center.

>  Ensure that the Early Childhood Center complies with MEB’s licensing requirements. Formulate a vision for the Early Childhood Center.

>  Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and dismiss teachers and staff.

>  Provide leadership and supervision of interactions, activities, and materials appropriate for young children’s emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual and physical development.

>  Plan, manage and monitor the Early Childhood Center’s resources for a high quality program.

>  Protect and enhance the health and safety of the children and staff at the Early Childhood Center.

>  Maintain an inviting physical environment which fosters optimal growth and development.

>  Provide professional assistance to the Board of Directors of the Early Childhood Center.

>  Implementing a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities

>  Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track

>   Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord

>   Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action

>   Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

>   A license degree in: child development and education, preschool education, kindergarten education, child development department, guidance and psychological counselling department or psychology department. Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children

>  Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord

>   Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action

>   Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

>   A license degree in: child development and education, preschool education, kindergarten education, child development department, guidance and psychological counselling department or psychology department.
