JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager

LOCATION: Manavgat, ANTALYA, TURKEY

Relocation Available: No

Position Type: Full time / regular

Reports To: Hotel GM (operational reporting) and CHRO (dotted line reporting)

POSITION SUMMARY - Job Description and Responsibilities:

Located on the heavenly costs of Aegean and Mediterranean, every single hotel of PALOMA Hotels group, are designed with tastes that reflects the culture and style of the region.

Paloma Hotels was established in 1979 and today offers #RealMediterranean in its 10 resorts with around 2,500 employers.

Now we are looking for an Human Resources Manager to offer real Mediterranean with us. The Manager will oversee the daily operation of the Human Resources office and will be responsible for areas of Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, Events, Workers Compensation and other employee-related tasks.

She / He will plan and control all short and long term operations of HR related functions like workforce planning, staffing strategies, wage and salary administration, associate and labor relations, benefits, workforce training and development.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that the company HR operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved
  • Design hiring plans for all hotel departments based on annual and seasonal needs
  • Assist in all activities concerning the sourcing & recruitment of staff, performance management, staff discipline and HR administration
  • Coordinate all matters of employee work permits and visas
  • Coordinate and oversee all matters related to staff accommodation, facilities, and transport
  • Assist in communication of key messages to all staff
  • Report employee turnover rates
  • Assist other department heads regarding HR policies and procedures for their respective departments
  • Assist with and ensures that all procedures concerning promotion, transfer and staff resignation is carried on within Company policy and also within legal boundaries
  • Assist in overseeing preparation of reports required by government agencies
  • Maintain a positive relationship with staff
  • Be responsible for all back office and administration tasks of the department
  • Develop and maintain confidential departmental staff and associated files, documents, pay scale details and/or other important databases

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES - Job Requirements & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3 years of experience as an HR Manager preferably in the hospitality industry and min.1 year of experience at the same position at a 4 Star or 5 Star Hotel
  • Experience in preparing business plans for HR for the sector
  • Experience in conducting interviews
  • Understanding of Labor Law
  • Having a strong background in employment, employee relations, benefits, wages and salary, employee training, accident prevention, and government regulations and policies
  • English language proficiency in professional level
  • Ability to have a professional appearance and manner at all times
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management/work prioritization skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and online recruiting resources
  • High emotional intelligence to include self-awareness and the ability to learn from mistakes
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations
  • Forecasting and analyzing data
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Completed military service for male candidates
