QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The leader of the fuel and lubricant sectors in Turkey, Petrol Ofisi was founded as the first and national brand of Turkey on February 18, 1941.
Petrol Ofisi traditionally maintains its titles as “the leader of fuel sector in Turkey”, “the market leader of lubricants and chemicals in Turkey”, and “one of the two biggest private companies of Turkey.”
Today, Petrol Ofisi has a strong and unparalleled infrastructure in Turkey, consisting of more than 1.700 fuel stations, more than 1.400 village pumps, 9 fuel terminals, 3 LPG terminals, 20 airport refueling units, 1 lubricant factory, and approximately 1.1 million m3 of storage capacity.
We are looking for IFRS Specialist who has the following qualifications to join our team:

  • University Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Big 4 Audit experience 
  • Proven management track record, 
  • Structured approach and problems solving ability, 
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Strong execution skills,
  • Thorough financial (excellent command on local accounting, IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, tax, cash-flow and planning techiques) and business understanding know-how, 
  • Excellent communication skills, 
  • Advanced knokledge of Oracle, TM1 and Excel, 
  • Good command of spoken and written English. 


İŞ TANIMI

JOB PURPOSE

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Coordination of interim and year-end audit works with auditors and assists in the preparation of audit schedules, data and information
  • Responsible for the controlling of the business accounting policies in compliance with the group guidelines and procedures
  • Take initiative to improve financial processes & management reporting
  • Establish corporate planning / reporting TR
  • Preparation of Net Working Capital, Free Cash Flow and other ad-hoc analysis and investigate the deviations
  • Carrying out FCF, NWC and NOPAT budget Process

General Responsibilities:

  • Constantly monitor and improve the quality of management information (KPIs used, data reliability)
  • Support Department Manager Corporate Controlling in coordinating Corporate Controlling requirements with all relevant stakeholders
  • Identify and implement improvements of IT systems (Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, TM1,…) to support operative controlling and information management
  • Planning / Forecasting:
  • Define standard templates, the overall planning process, and consolidate the segment figures for the MTP of OGT to an overall TR MTP
  • Support preparation of comprehensive MTP / budget documentation and forecasts
  • Define and enable necessary IT support for planning input in order to facilitate consolidation and interpretation and to assure to have planned figures for all relevant actual information
  • Maintain data quality by challenging accuracy of data provided

Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive standard and ad hoc reports for consolidated group reports
  • Maintain data quality by challenging accuracy of data provided
  • Cost and result tracking in OGT business segments
  • Provide ad hoc information on consolidated results and KPIs
  • Plan and perform reporting on Support and Overhead functions
  • Calculate and coordinate group wide corporate and division charges

Interfaces:

  • Proactively align relevant activities with OGT as well as Petrol Ofisi business segment cost centre heads and keep in close contact with Petrol Ofisi Controlling department
